OUR MISSION STATEMENT

The purpose of the Society shall be to advance the general interest of Agriculture and to hold a Fall Agricultural Exhibition.

DID YOU KNOW!

*The Society has a membership of 210 people

*To apply for membership in the Society contact us via email or come into the Main Office

*The Saanich Fair gets an average of 10,000 entries

*The Society owns the 70 acres it is situated on

*The hayfields are used only at the Fair for parking otherwise it is leased to a farmer for hay

*There are five permanent staff at the Fairground year round

*There are 500+ volunteers who help out at the Saanich Fair

*The venues are rented out year round

*The first Fair was in 1868
